Abstract We identified the lowest composition necessary to generate a vaccination adjuvant that promotes Treg response following immunization in mice and named it “complete tolerogenic adjuvant.” This novel may allow us utilize well-established “antigen plus adjuvant” method of induce cell-mediated antigen-specific immunosuppression. The minimal is dexamethasone, rapamycin, monophosphoryl lipid A with mass ratios: 8:20:3. have demonstrated why immunosuppressive immunogenic substances are both required for formation genuine adjuvants cells by dissecting roles each these components during vaccination. Currently, research ongoing our group begin assess usefulness this antigen murine models human autoimmune/inflammatory diseases. Specifically, we evaluating efficacy regimen targeting apolipoprotein B antigen, using ApoE−/− mouse model atherosclerosis.
